Joseph Ngolepus
Joseph Ngolepus (born April 10, 1975 ) is a Kenyan marathon runner .
In 2000 he was fourth in the Rotterdam Marathon and first in the Palermo Marathon . He became known in Germany for his victory in the 2001 Berlin Marathon , in which he was actually only engaged as a pacemaker . In 2003 he set his best time of 2:07:57 in the London Marathon , in 2006 he won the Madrid Marathon and in 2007 he came second in the Ruhr Marathon .
Volker Wagner temporarily acted as his manager and trainer .
