Joseph Pushkin (born April 12, 1827 in Munich ; † 1905 there ) was a German draftsman and lithographer of Russian descent.

Live and act

Pushkin was the son of a house and landowner. He was baptized in St. Peter's Church. At the age of 16 he enrolled on April 23, 1842 for painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. He was active in Hamburg and later in Munich and was a member of the Hamburg Artists' Association from 1832 . His works showed portraits or cityscapes, some of which he made as watercolors. Including a view of the Catharinenfleth in Hamburg, which he had made during his stay there. A number of xylographs were also made here.
