Joseph Rye

Joseph Rye (born 20th century in England ) is a British actor in film and television.

Life

Joseph Rye trained as an actor at the Mountview Academy of Theater Arts in London .

He has appeared as a stage actor in numerous theater productions on various British and American stages. His theater career began in the late 1980s in smaller roles in the musicals Forever Eve (1989 at the Shaw Theater, London) and Viva Espana (1990 at the White Bear Theater, London). In 1991 he played with the Traffic of the Stage Theater Company, a British touring theater company . In 1997 he played Wilson in Joe Orton's play The Ruffian on the Stair at the Lilian Way Theater in Los Angeles . In 1999 he appeared again at the White Bear Theater, this time as Sean in the play Myopia . The role of Macduff in Macbeth followed in 2003 at the Stafford Gatehouse Theater in Stafford . At the Lyric Theater in London he played the smaller roles Bernard, Stanley and Howard in Arthur Miller's play Death of a Salesman in 2005 . On Finborough Theater in London, he took over in February / March 2006, the role of Thomas Wyvern in the historical drama Black Water Angel by Jim Nolan . At the A Noise Within Theater in Los Angeles, he played the bisexual undertaker Dennis in Booty from Joe Orton in 2007 . In 2008 he played again in Death of a Salesman , this time the lead role of Biff Loman at the York Theater Royal in York , for which he received several good reviews.

In March 2010 he interpreted poems by the Romanian national poet Mihai Eminescu in English in the staged reading Hyperion at the Maidment Theater of the University of Auckland .

Rye also played numerous roles in film and television . He took on several continuous series roles, recurring episode roles and guest roles. He played in the American TV series All American Girl , Nash Bridges , High Incident - The Cops of El Camino , Conan the Adventurer , Fame LA and CSI: NY . He also appeared in the British crime series Judge John Deed , The Bill and in 2007 the episode King's Crystal from the television series Inspector Barnaby .

Rye made his cinema debut in 1999 in the independent film Born to Lose , in which he played the drug-addicted lead singer of a Southern California punk band . In the science fiction film Alien vs. He played Predator in 2004 as Joe Connors, a scientist and a member of the film's team of archaeologists . In 2006 he had a smaller role than Jones in the comic book version V for Vendetta .

Rye lives (as of May 2010) in New Zealand .
