Joseph Schott (singer)

Joseph Schott (* 1818 ; † 1872 ) was a court opera singer with a bass voice .

Life

Already during the time of the Kingdom of Hanover and especially after the construction of the Royal Opera House in the royal seat of Hanover, Joseph Schott was one of the well-known Hanover opera ensembles of his time - and with him other singers favored by the royal court such as Asminde Ubrich , Therese Janda , Madeleine Nottes , Amalie Weiss and Auguste Geisthardt and singers such as Albert Niemann , Theodor Wachtel , Gustav Gunz , Max Stägemann and Traugott Gey .
