Joseph Streicher
Joseph Streicher (* around 1801 in Freiburg im Breisgau ; † March 2, 1880 there ) was a German administrative officer.
Life
Joseph Streicher studied law at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg . In 1821 he became a member of the Corps Suevia Freiburg . In 1827 he became a legal intern and in 1833 a professor at the Heidelberg Oberamt. In 1836 he moved to the district office of Waldkirch as an official assessor , where he was appointed bailiff in 1841 . In 1848 he became the official board of the local government of Schonau appointed and in 1851 the bailiff carries. In 1855 he moved to the Freiburg University Office, which he was in charge of until his retirement in 1868.
