Josiane Aubert-Honsberger (born April 7, 1949 in Le Chenit , resident in Le Chenit) is a Swiss politician ( SP ).

biography

Aubert studied natural sciences at the University of Lausanne and graduated with a licentiate . She worked as a secondary school teacher and adult educator.

Aubert was a member of the Grand Council of Vaud from 2002 to November 2007 . From March 2004 to March 2008 she was party president of the SP of the canton of Vaud. On June 4, 2007, she replaced the resigned Pierre Salvi in the National Council and was confirmed in the 2007 Swiss parliamentary elections . She was a member of various commissions, including the Security Policy Commission and the Finance Commission as a member and the Commission for Science, Education and Culture as President. She resigned from the National Council on June 1, 2014, followed by Rebecca Ruiz .

Josiane Aubert is married and has three children.
