Josip Pečarić

Josip E. Pečarić (born September 3, 1948 in Kotor ) is a Croatian mathematician who deals with analysis and especially inequalities .

Pecaric received his doctorate in 1982 from the University of Belgrade with Petar Vasić (Jensensche and related inequalities (Serbian)). He is a professor at the University of Zagreb . He also taught at the Abdus Salam School of Mathematical Sciences in Lahore.

In 1999 he received the Croatian Danica Hrvatska Order and is a member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences.
