Joskin SA is a manufacturer of agricultural machinery with headquarters in Soumagne , a municipality in the Belgian province of Liège .

history

In 1968 the company was founded as a contractor by Victor Joskin. Its activities were supplemented with machine and spare parts trading. Joskin is still regionally important as an agricultural machinery dealer today. The contracting company has meanwhile been given up. Since 1974 the company has started importing machines. Brands such as Krone , Monosem, Sulky-Burel , Rauch , Strautmann , Ålö-Quicke and Hardi are represented in Belgium by Joskin. In 1984 the company started producing liquid manure tanks . In the 1990s, the delivery program was expanded to include agricultural tippersas well as dump trucks suitable for construction sites . Additional production sites were set up in Trzcianka, Poland (1999) and Bourges, France (2002). In 2007 the subsidiary SPAW TEC was founded in Andrimont . Around 20,000 liquid manure tanks and 7,000 tippers had been manufactured by 2010. The range also includes simply built devices such as cattle trailers or pasture harrows as well as manure spreaders and silage wagons .

At Agritechnica 2011, Joskin presented the Cargo-Track, an agricultural universal transporter.

In 2012, around 3500 devices were manufactured at the four locations and sales of 107 million euros were achieved.

At the beginning of 2013 Joskin took over the French tipper and manure spreader manufacturer LeBoulch, based in La Vieille-Lyre, after it had failed twice in the past.
