Joyce King

Joyce King (born September 1, 1920 in Sydney , † June 10, 2001 ) was an Australian sprinter .

In 1948 she won gold over 100 yards and over 220 yards at the national championships.

At the Olympic Games in London in 1948 she won the team silver medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay together with her teammates Shirley Strickland , June Maston and Betty McKinnon , behind the Netherlands team (gold) and in front of the team from Canada (bronze).
