Joyce Yakubowich
Joyce Yakubowich (born Sadowick; born May 29, 1953 in Burnaby ) is a former Canadian sprinter .
At the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh in 1970 , she won bronze in the 4 x 100 meter relay and was eliminated over 400 m in the run. In 1971 she was sixth over 400 m at the Pan American Games in Cali .
At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, she did not get beyond the first lap over 400 m.
In 1975 she won the Pan American Games in Mexico City over 400 m and in the 4-by-400-meter relay , won bronze in the 4-by-100-meter relay and was sixth in the 200 m .
At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, she reached the quarter-finals over 400 m and was eighth in the Canadian 4-by-400-meter relay.
At the Athletics World Cup in 1977 she took fourth place with the American relay.
In 1972 and 1975 she was Canadian 200m champion and in 1972 400m.
