Juanín García Lorenzana (born August 28, 1977 in León , Spain ) is a former Spanish handball player .

García, who last played for the Spanish club Ademar León (back number 6) and ran for the Spanish national team (back number 17), was usually used as a left winger. With 2,684 goals he is the record scorer in the Spanish league ASOBAL .

Juanín García played his first league games in the Liga ASOBAL for Ademar León . Here he won the Spanish championship in 2000/2001, the Copa del Rey de Balonmano in 2001/2002 , the Copa ASOBAL in 1998/99 and the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1998/99 and 2004/05 . In 2005 García moved to FC Barcelona , with whom he again won the Spanish championship in 2005/06, 2010/11, 2011/12, 2012/13 and 2013/14, again the Copa ASOBAL and the Spanish Supercup in 2006/07 and the 2013/14 Supercopa Asobal, the Copa ASOBAL and the King's Cup won. In the 2010/11 season he won the EHF Champions League with Barcelona . After the 2013/14 season, he left FC Barcelona and moved to runner-up Naturhouse La Rioja . In summer 2015 he returned to Ademar León. After the 2018/19 season, he ended his career and took over a coaching position in the connection area with Ademar León.

Juanín García has made 206 international appearances for the Spanish national team and is Spain's top scorer with 822 goals. At the 2005 World Cup in Tunisia, he was world champion with Spain . He also took in the 2006 European Championship in Switzerland Silver . At the handball world championship 2007 in Germany he was eliminated with Spain in the quarter-finals against Germany and finished seventh. At the 2008 Olympic Games and the 2011 World Cup , he won the bronze medal with the national team.
