Juan Carlos Menseguez [ xu̯an ˈkarlos menˈseːges ] (born February 18, 1984 in Córdoba , Argentina ) is an Argentine football player .
He played for VfL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga between 2003 and 2007 . He previously worked for River Plate . In addition to Menseguez, his compatriots Facundo Quiroga and Jonathan Santana also played for the Lower Saxony club, due to the good contacts of the main sponsor Volkswagen in South America . In 2007 he moved back to his home country to the reigning champion CA San Lorenzo de Almagro for 1.1 million euros .
