Facundo Hernán Quiroga (born January 10, 1978 in San Luis ) is a former Argentine football player .

Career

The defender moved from Newell's Old Boys to Sporting Lisbon in 1998 , where he played for two years. After a six-month trip to SSC Napoli , he returned to Sporting Lisbon in early 2001, before moving to VfL Wolfsburg in 2004 . There the defender had a contract until 2008, which was not extended; Quiroga then joined CA River Plate from Buenos Aires . In four years he made 90 Bundesliga appearances for Wolfsburg.

Quiroga completed 16 international matches for the Argentine national team .
