Juan Carlos Reveco
Juan Carlos Reveco (born August 21, 1983 in Malargüe , Argentina ) is a former Argentine boxer in the light and flyweight division .
Professional career
On June 22, 2007 he boxed light flyweight against Nethra Sasiprapa for the vacant WBA World Championship and won by classic knockout in round 8. However, he lost this belt on points in his second title defense to Brahim Asloum in December of the same year.
On August 15, 2009 he defeated Francisco Rosas on points and was thereby WBA interim world champion. On August 28 of the same year he was named regular WBA world champion without a fight. He held this belt until February of the following year.
On June 10, 2011 he became WBA interim flyweight champion. In December of the following year he was named regular WBA world champion without a fight. Reveco defended this title six times and lost it on April 22, 2015 to Kazuto Ioka by majority decision.
