Kazuto loka ( Japanese 井岡 一 翔 , Ioka Kazuto ; born March 24, 1989 in Sakai , Japan ) is a Japanese boxer . He is a former world champion of the WBC and WBA in strawweight , former regular world champion of the WBA in light flyweight and current regular world champion of the WBA in flyweight (current WBA unified champion is Juan Francisco Estrada ).

His uncle is the boxer Hiroki Ioka .

amateur

As an amateur he was eight times Japanese champion and won a bronze medal at the King's Cup in Bangkok in 2008 by winning points against the Bulgarian Pawel Petrow and losing points to the Thai Amnat Ruenroeng .

Professional career

In 2009 he won his professional debut with a knockout victory over Thongthailek Sor Tanapinyo in the third round. The following year he won against Masayoshi Segawa (19-2-0) and won the belt of the Japanese champions. In 2011 he became WBC world champion in the strawweight division, beating Oleydong Sithsamerchai (record 35-0-1) with a technical knockout and defended this title against Juan Hernández (record 18-1-0) and Yodngoen Tor Chalermchai ( Balance 8-0-0).

In 2012 he won the WBA world championship belt against Akira Yaegashi (balance 15-2-0) in a 12-round battle and fought his way through a technical K .-. O victory in round 6 against Jose Alfredo Rodriguez (balance 28- 1-0) the vacant world title of the WBA in light flyweight. In 2013 he was able to defend this title twice, including a knockout against Kwanthai Sithmorseng (record 43-1-1). He suffered his first bankruptcy in 2014 against the undefeated Amnat Ruenroeng . This fight was about the world championship belt IBF flyweight title.

On April 22nd, 2015 he managed to beat the Argentine Juan Carlos Reveco by just a few points and thus won the WBA world flyweight title.
