Juan Francisco Estrada Romero (born April 14, 1990 in Puerto Peñasco , Sonora , Mexico ) is a Mexican professional boxer and current super champion of the WBA and world champion of the WBO in flyweight .
Professional career
On August 30, 2008 Romero made his debut as a professional and won over his compatriot Sergio Chavez over four rounds unanimously on points. In 2010 he won the WBC Mundo Hispano super flyweight title and suffered his first defeat the following year against his compatriot and former IBF super flyweight champion Juan Carlos Sanchez Jr.
On November 17, 2012, he failed against Roman Gonzalez in a WBA world championship fight in the light flyweight unanimously on points. The following year he was finally WBA Superchampion and World Champion of the WBO Association by winning points over Brian Viloria . He has been able to defend these two belts four times in a row so far.
