The Siebeldinger Hütte (also Geldmünzhütte ) is a refuge in the Palatinate Forest managed by the Siebeldingen / Birkweiler local association of the Palatinate Forest Association since 1973 . It is located in the Middle Palatinate Forest in a north-westerly direction above the village of Eußerthal ( 195 m ). The hut is at an altitude of 344 m . It does not offer any overnight accommodation. The name Geldmünzhütte is derived from the nearby source of money coins.
Access and walks
The hut can only be reached on foot. The shortest access is from a hiking car park on the road leading from Eusserthal to the Taubensuhl forest house . The hut can also be reached from Eusserthal through the Dürrental or Ramberg . The neighboring huts of the Palatinate Forest Association are the Pottaschtalhütte and the Walsheimer Hütte . Other nearby hiking huts are the Forsthaus Taubensuhl and the Jung-Pfalz-Hütte . From the hut, the Almersberg can be hiked with a lookout rock in the Wasgau .
