Eusserthal waterworks in the Dürrenbachtal

The Dürrentalbach rises at 370  m above sea level. NHN in a notch valley between the Großer Fischberg ( 530.3  m ) and the Armbrunnenkopf ( 545.3  m ) in the forest area of the community of Siebeldingen .

To the right below the state road  505, which leads narrow and winding from the Forsthaus Taubensuhl in the northwest through Eußerthal to the B 10 ( Pirmasens -Landau) in the south, the stream runs along the eponymous Dürrental , while it mainly moves in a southeastern direction. In the valley, the stream flows into a few small brooks, five of which reach significant lengths. Almost at the end of the valley is the listed Eußerthal waterworks , shortly afterwards the Dürrentalbach is dammed up to three ponds for a distance of 300 m , in which fish farming is carried out.

On the northern edge of Eußerthal, the Dürrentalbach, which is now also called Sulzbach , flows into the Eußerbach from the right at a height of about 200  m .
