Juan Espinoza Jiménez

Juan Espinoza Jiménez (born May 11, 1966 in La Piedad ) is auxiliary bishop in Morelia , Mexico.

Life

Juan Espinoza Jiménez was ordained a priest on January 31, 1993 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on December 15, 2010 auxiliary bishop in Morelia and titular bishop of Arpi . The Archbishop of Morelia, Alberto Suárez Inda , gave him episcopal ordination on February 22nd of the following year ; Co-consecrators were Christophe Pierre , Apostolic Nuncio in Mexico and Carlos Suárez Cázares , Auxiliary Bishop in Morelia. The bishops of Latin America and the Caribbean elected him on May 13, 2015 in Santo Domingo for the period 2015–2019 as general secretary of the Latin American Bishops Council CELAM .
