Juan Luis Galiardo Comes (born March 2, 1940 in San Roque (Cádiz) , † June 22, 2012 in Madrid ) was a Spanish actor .

Galiardo dropped out of agricultural and engineering studies to play his first leading role in 1960. He quickly developed into one of the leading actors in Spanish and Spanish-language films; In addition to his home country, he was also often employed in Mexico, where he enjoyed an exceptional reputation. He also lived in Central America for several years before he returned to Spain in the mid-1980s and founded the production company “Penelope Films”, with which he produced El disputado voto del señor Cayo and the television series Turno de oficio in 1986 .
