Judd Parkin

Judd Parkin (born June 18, 1952 in Chicago , Illinois , USA ) is an American film producer and screenwriter .

Parkin is best known for his modern depiction of the life of Jesus Christ in " The Bible - Jesus " ( 1999 ). The film won an Emmy award in the “Best Miniseries” category.

But a year earlier, in 1998 , he had already produced a family film called " Nicholas - A Child's Heart Lives On ". Parkin received the Christopher Award for the film, while the leading actress Jamie Lee Curtis was nominated for an Emmy .

Judd Parkin's last film success for the time being, for which he not only produced but also wrote the screenplay , was the cinematic reappraisal of the life of Pope John Paul II. The work was made in 2005 under the title “ Do not be afraid! - The life of Pope John Paul II ”.
