Judy Cornwell

Judy Valerie Cornwell (born February 22, 1940 in Hammersmith , London ) is a British actress.

biography

Cornwell's father served in the Royal Air Force during the war and she grew up in Great Britain for the first few years of life before emigrating to Australia with her family . She wrote an autobiography about her childhood. She later returned to the United Kingdom and began working as a professional dancer and comedian in a London theater in Westminster . Soon afterwards she began to work as an actress.

Her long career includes many appearances on radio and television series . One of her best-known roles is that of Daisy in the sitcom Mehr Schein als Sein , which she played for several years. She also played in series such as Jim Bergerac , Doctor Who , Heartbeat and EastEnders . She also played in films quite often and was e.g. See, for example, Santa Claus , the cry for freedom and Jane Austen's seduction .

In addition to acting, she is also active as a book author and, after her autobiography, wrote a number of novels . In 1960 she married John Kelsall Parry and have one child with him.
