Judy Farr

Judy Farr (* before 1983 in the United Kingdom ) is a British production designer .

Career

Farr graduated from Birmingham Art School in 1983 with a bachelor's degree in theater design . She first worked at the BBC , where she worked on productions such as Hi-de-Hi! (1986), Black Adder the third (1987), or Mr. Bean (1991-1992). She then established herself as a freelance production designer in the British film industry. This was followed by films such as War of the Buttons (1994), Shine - The Way into Light (1996) and Forever and Forever (1998).

She has worked with directors such as Terry Gilliam , Neil Jordan , Frank Oz and David Cronenberg .

For her work on the set of The King's Speech (2010), Farr and Eve Stewart were nominated for an Academy Award for Best Production Design . She also received nominations for the BAFTA Award and the Critics' Choice Movie Award .
