Judy Vernon
Judy Vernon (actually Judith Ann Vernon, nee Toeneboehn; born September 22, 1945 in St. Louis , United States ) is a former British hurdler who was also used in the 4 x 100 meter relay because of her sprint strength .
At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, she was eliminated over 100 m hurdles in the preliminary run and was seventh in the 4 x 100 meter relay .
In 1974 she won over 100 m hurdles at the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch and won silver with the English 4 x 100 meter relay. At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Gothenburg she was fourth over 60 m hurdles, and at the European Athletics Championships in Rome she reached the semi-finals over 100 m hurdles.
In 1973 she became English champion over 100 m hurdles and in 1973 and 1974 English indoor champion over 60 m hurdles.
