The Neukirchen youth center of the Evangelical Lutheran Church is one of the 13 youth education centers in Bavaria in Neukirchen , a district of the Lautertal community , in the deanery and district of Coburg .

The operating and personnel costs are covered by grants from the Bavarian Youth Association, the Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Evangelical Lutheran Dean's Office in Coburg and the European Union. The main tasks of the facility are, above all, career orientation , which is offered in schools in the district , study trips and youth encounters . The inscription on the foundation stone stands as a Christian motto for the house: Jesus Christ says: "Where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am among them."
Governing bodies and educational support
The youth center is managed by a board of trustees and a socio-educational director. The board of trustees is primarily responsible for the conception of the educational establishment. The youth education program is approved by an education committee made up of members of the board of trustees. The youth center is looked after by a total of four social workers.
Location, facility and history
The youth center is located above the village of Neukirchen in the Lautertal municipality in the northern district of Coburg, not far from the border with Thuringia , in an idyllic location in the Franconian-Thuringian countryside. The foundation stone was laid on November 10, 1974, followed by the inauguration on Reformation Day 1976 and an extension in 1981. The Youth House Neukirchen makes it his mission, children, adolescents and young adults of all Board - and educational levels to the common "Live and Learn" invite. It is barrier-free for wheelchair users . It is thanks to an initiative by the Coburg Health Department that, in 1997, together with the Neukirchen youth center, the starting shot for a sensory field was given. The adventure and climbing garden at the JHN (Ropes Course) and the proximity to nature make it possible to gain experience in adventure and environmental education in the immediate vicinity of the facility . The youth center is equipped with a photovoltaic system and a solar service water system. For decades it has offered a hostel to clients from all over Europe and beyond.
