Jules-Émile-François Hervé de Beaulieu
Jules-Émile-François Hervé de Beaulieu (born September 16, 1752 in Rannée † September 24, 1807 in Redon ) was a French lawyer and politician.
biography
Jules-Émile-François Hervé Beaulieu was born into an old indigenous bourgeois family from Anjou . His father was Joseph Luc Hervé de Beaulieu (1711–1794), a courtier in Redon. His mother was Emilia-Agathe Bigot Maubuson, born April 24, 1720.
Before the revolution he was a lawyer for the East India Company .
In 1791 he was active in the French Ministry of Finance and then replaced Antoine Duranthon as Minister of Finance from June 19 to July 29, 1792.
He was briefly arrested during the Terreur era and then represented the 132 of Nantes . After the revolution, he retired to his mansion in Beaulieu-la-Garenne .
