Robert Piris Da Motta , full name Robert Ayrton Piris da Motta Mendoza , (born July 26, 1994 in Ciudad del Este ) is a Paraguayan national soccer player . He is used in the position of a defensive midfielder , alternatively in the central midfield or in the attack. His strong foot is the right one.

Piris Da Motta started in 2005 in the junior division of Club Rubio Ñu . At the club Piris Da Motta made the leap into the professional squad in 2010. Piris Da Motta played his first game in the Primera División on May 12, 2010 in the away game against Sportivo Luqueño . In that game he was in the starting line-up. Piris Da Motta made three more appearances during the season. Also in 2012 he had to be content with the role of reserve player with eight missions. In the following years he established himself step by step as a regular player. At the 2015 Clausura Piris Da Motta was transferred to Club Olimpia | borrowed. He was able to win this with the club in 2015. At Olimpia , Piris Da Motta made his international club debut. In July 2016, Piris Da Motta returned to Rubio Ñu after failing to agree on a contract extension with Olimpia . Olimpia wanted to exercise a purchase option of 50% of the transfer rights and bind Piris Da Motta to itself for five years. A point of contention in the negotiations was pay. Olimpia offered the player $ 20,000 but Piris Da Motta asked for $ 40,000. There were also disagreements between the clubs about the agreed transfer fee.
