Éverton Augusto de Barros Ribeiro (born April 10, 1989 in Arujá , São Paulo ) is a Brazilian football player .

Career

General

Ribeiro started his career as a left-back in the youth team of Corinthians São Paulo . He was very agile and skillful. With his dribbling quick and precise shots from outside the box, he secured a place in the professional line-up of Corinthians in 2007.

Despite his rapid promotion to the first team, he came here only too few appearances and in early 2008 was loaned to the second division club AD São Caetano. In the club he came to regular missions and stabilized his performance, which brought him a call to the U-20 South American Football Championship in 2009.

In February 2011, his move to Coritiba was confirmed for around 1.5 million reals . The contract had a term of three years. He scored his first goal for Coritiba in the match against Atlético Goianiense , in the round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil , on March 30, 2011. Coritiba won the game 3-1.

The first official game then took place in February in the derby against Atlético Mineiro at the state championship in Minas Gerais . On August 21, when they defeated Flamengo , Everton scored a goal that FIFA rated "the best offer of the night". The season was not only crowned for the player by winning the Brazilian championship , he also received the Golden Ball for the best player of the Brazilian championship 2013.

In January 2015, Ribeiro moved to al-Ahli Club Dabai in the United Arab Emirates for a fee equivalent to 15 million euros . There he received a four-year contract. At the beginning of June 2017, the change from Ribeiro to the Brazilian first division club Flamengo was announced. The transfer fee is the equivalent of 7 million euros, the change will take place on July 1, 2017. He won the Copa Libertadores with the club on November 23, 2019, 2019 .
