At the beginning of his career, Rodrigo Caio went through the youth teams of São Paulo FC . With these he has already won competitions for young talent. At the club, he made the leap into the professional squad in 2011. The then seventeen-year-old made his debut in the 2011 championship round in the top division of Brazil.
