Jules Angst (born December 11, 1926 in Zurich ) is a Swiss psychiatrist .

Life

Angst grew up in Zurich and started his scientific career there. He received his doctorate in 1953 and completed his habilitation in 1966. From 1969 to 1994 he was Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at the University of Zurich and Director of the Research Department of the Psychiatric University Clinic in Zurich . Since 1994 he has been honorary professor at the University of Zurich.

His scientific work includes six monographs and numerous scientific articles.
