Jules Desgoffe (born March 3, 1864 in Paris , † 1905 ) was a French painter. He was the son of the painter Blaise Desgoffe (1830-1901), who in turn was the nephew of the painter Alexandre Desgoffe (1805-1882), a student of Ingres .

Desgoffe attended the Paris Academy of Decorative Arts. His father in particular, but also William Adolphe Bouguereau and Tony Robert-Fleury were his masters. He appeared in the Paris Salon in 1886 with studies from the Artillery Museum. He also exhibited in the Jaloux and Le Secret salons . In addition to paintings of costume designs from the time of Louis XIII. his oil paintings with mountain scenes from the Dauphiné mountains , from Savoy , Switzerland and Tyrol , which he exhibited every year in the Société de Peintre de Montagne .
