Jules Lavigne (born March 10, 1901 in Uccle , † 1957 ) was a Belgian football player .
career
Jules Lavigne played almost exclusively for the racing club from the Belgian capital Brussels , to which he was a senior player from 1919 to 1938. From 1928 to 1932, the central defender played ten appearances for the Belgian national team . In 1928 he was part of his country's squad at the Summer Olympics in Amsterdam . The Belgians beat Luxembourg 5-3 in the round of 16 and lost to Argentina 3-6 in the quarter-finals. Lavigne played in the game against Luxembourg.
He ended his active career in 1939 after a season with Royal Dottignies Sport from the Mouscron district .
