Julia Friese

Julia Friese (born September 25, 1979 in Leipzig ) is a German graphic artist and illustrator .

Life

Julia Friese studied at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin , at the Faculdad de Bellas Artes in Bilbao and at the HGB Leipzig , where she obtained her diploma in 2006.

She has been working as a freelance graphic designer and illustrator since 2000.

Awards / nominations / exhibitions

In 2007, the book Alle seine Entlein, designed by Julia Friese and Christian Duda , was awarded the Lynx of the Month .

In 2008 the book was nominated for the German Youth Literature Prize.

In 2011, LesArt , the Berlin center for children's and youth literature, exhibited a selection of Julia Friese's illustrations, graphic and free works under the title Schnipsel Sketch Books - Original Imagery by Julia Friese .
