Julia Mrozinski (born February 16, 2000 ) is a German swimming athlete , successful in freestyle , dolphin and layer swimming . She won a gold medal in the 200 m dolphin at the 2015 European Games .

The athlete starting for SG Frankfurt won seven titles at the German Youth Swimming Championships in 2015 and holds several age group records.

At the 2015 European Games in Baku , which also count as the European Youth Swimming Championships, she won the 200 m dolphin in a time of 2: 11.19 minutes ahead of the Italian Elisa Scarpa Vidal and the Hungarian Boglarka Bonecz . In this discipline she had already improved the age-old record of GDR swimmer Kornelia Greßler's 1985 record in the semifinals in 2: 11.85 on the opening day .

Julia Mrozinski lives in Nidderau and is trained by Sabine Käthner. Her sporting role model is the American Missy Franklin .
