Swimming community Frankfurt

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Frankfurt swimming community or SG Frankfurt for short is an amalgamation of eight swimming and water sports clubs from Frankfurt am Main . With one team each in the first division swimming for men and women, SG Frankfurt is one of the most important teams in German swimming. In the 2005/2006 season, both teams had to prove themselves in the relegation battle, but were able to keep the class safely with seventh place (women) and eighth (men). In 2012, however, the first men's team won the German Swimming Team Championships for the first time in the club's history.
