Julia Walter

Julia Walter (* 1984 in Erfurt ) is a German director and screenwriter .

Career

Julia Walter first studied literature and philosophy and then worked as an assistant director for Jan Markus Linhof and Oliver Mielke, among others .

In 2010 she started studying directing at the University of Television and Film Munich and has made four short films to date .

Her short films were represented at national and international film festivals and won numerous prizes. Her short film Job Interview is Julia Walter's most successful film to date. It was also presented by German Films in Cannes as part of the 2014 Next Generation Short Tiger program .
