Hollfeld District Court

The Hollfeld Regional Court (initially also Waischenfeld Regional Court or Hollfeld-Waischenfeld Regional Court ) was an older Bavarian regional court that existed from 1804 to 1879 and was based in Hollfeld in what is now the Bayreuth district . The seat of the associated rent office was Waischenfeld . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

history

On November 16, 1804, in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria, the Hollfeld district court was established. After the establishment of the Kingdom of Bavaria, this was added to the Mainkreis , whose capital was Bamberg .

On March 1, 1812, the former Prussian Justice and Chamber Office Sanspareil was assigned to the Hollfeld District Court.

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, the Hollfeld District Court was established , the district of which was formed from the communities of the previous Hollfeld District Court: Aufseß , Breitenlesau , Brunn , Drosendorf an der Aufseß , Freienfels , Gösseldorf , Hochstahl , Hohenpölz , Hollfeld, Huppendorf , Kainach , Königsfeld , Krögelstein , Löhlitz , Nankendorf , Neuhaus , Plankenfels , Poxdorf , Sachsendorf , Schönfeld , Seelig , Stechendorf , Treppendorf , Treunitz , Waischenfeld , Weiher , Wiesentfels , Wohnsgehaig and Wonsees .

Courthouse

The court was located in a three-storey hipped roof building at Oberer Tor 2, which is now used as a residential building . The building designed by Johann Jakob Michael Küchel in 1743 is a listed building.
