Zeubach is a district of the Upper Franconian town of Waischenfeld in the Bayreuth district .

location

The village is located about 1.7 km east of Waischenfeld on the district road BT 15 between Waischenfeld and Volsbach in the Zeubach valley. The Zeubach flows through the village and flows into the Wiesent in Waischenfeld.

history

Zeubach was first mentioned in 1362 in Bavaria's place-name book. The district of the former municipality of Hannberg was incorporated into Waischenfeld in 1972.

Attractions

The St. Laurentius Chapel was built in 1890 and renovated in 2004 as a joint effort by the local residents.

Others

The most famous festival in Zeubach is the Kerwa on the first weekend in August.
