Julian Markus Alder (born July 9, 1997 in Herisau , Switzerland ) is a Swiss floorball player . His brothers Dominik Alder and Manuel Alder also play floorball. The striker has been under contract with the Bernese club Floorball Köniz since the 2018/19 season . After only one year in Bern, the Herisauer returned to St.Gallen, to the UHC Waldkirch-St, Gallen. Before that, the stocky player went through the U16, U18 and U21 junior teams of the UHC WaSa and played two seasons for its Fanion team.

UHC Waldkirch-St. Gallen

Since the 2016/17 season, the young player has been a striker at UHC Waldkirch-St. Gallen under contract. Before that, the stocky player went through the U16, U18 and U21 junior teams of the UHC WaSa.

Alder made his debut in the surprising victory against HC Rychenberg Winterthur on December 19, 2015 as an 18-year-old in the NLA team. On March 13, 2016, he scored the first NLA goal against UHC Uster.

On March 30, 2017, the UHC Waldkirch-St. Gallen announced that Alder has extended his contract by one year until the end of the 2017/18 season.

Floorball Köniz

On February 20, 2018, Floorball Köniz announced that Alder could be signed with a multi-year contract from the 2018/19 season. The UHC Waldkirch-St. Gallen with a press release.

Alder won the 2018 Supercup with floorball Köniz and came third at the Champions Cup in Gävle, Sweden.

After a successful year at Floorball Köniz, Alder returned to his home club.

National team

In August 2017, national coach David Jansson asked Alder for a course for the Swiss U23 national team for the first time.
