Julian Kirshner

Julian Kirshner (* around 1985) is an American jazz and improvisation musician ( drums , percussion ) who is active in the Chicago music scene.

Live and act

Kirshner began learning drums when he was ten when he was given the opportunity to play in the Chicago Symphony Orchestra's Percussion Scholarship Group . For the next 15 years he also took classes with Sarah Allen, David Bloom, Dylan Ryan and Frank Rosaly . Kirsher has since worked in the Chicago music scene with Sam Weinberg , Charlie Kirchen , Keefe Jackson , Fred Lonberg-Holm and Gerrit Hatcher . Kirshner also organizes the weekly Improvised Music Series in the Myopic Books bookstore .
