Julien Bailleul (born February 15, 1988 in Lomme ; † October 7, 2011 ) was a French football player . He played in defense .

Life

Bailleul received his football training at OSC Lille and CS Sedan before playing at AC Cambrai from 2006 to 2007 . For this he scored in 2007, among other things, the interim equalizing goal in the 1: 4 defeat against Olympique Marseille in a game of the French Cup . For the 2007/08 season he moved to SC Feignies , then to Belgium to RAEC Mons , who briefly loaned him to the first division club SC Lokeren . At the end of January 2011, Bailleul returned to Mons. He had 45 games for Mons and 9 games for Lokeren. He also scored a goal for Mons.

Bailleul died at the age of 23 from cancer that was diagnosed a long time ago and that did not allow him to return to work in the 2011/12 season.
