Juliet Nicolson
Juliet Nicolson (born June 9, 1954 ) is a British author.
Life
Juliet Nicolson grew up in a family of writers and had lived in Sissinghurst Castle, her grandparents Vita Sackville-West and Harold Nicolson, in Kent since 1962 . She is a daughter of Philippa Janet Tennyson d'Eyncourt and Nigel Nicolson . She has two daughters, Clemmie and Flora and now lives in Alfriston , Sussex with her second husband, Charles Anson .
Nicolson attended the Benenden School for Girls and studied English at St Hugh's College for Women, Oxford University . She then worked in a public relations department, got married, and moved to New York City with her first husband . After the divorce, she returned to Sissinghurst with the daughters.
Her first historical-literary attempts resulted from an archive work for the memoirs of Lady Annabel Goldsmith . She wrote feature articles for the Spectator newspaper . She has re- edited The Edwardians from Sackville-West .
Nicolson has published two socio-historical non-fiction books on England before and after the First World War. Her first novel As Mrs. Simpson stole the king is among the politicians and writers associated with the British upper class of the 1930s and has already repeated various literary and cinematic processes about the marriage of Wallis Simpson and King Edward VIII. The feature section is expecting a film also her book through the BBC .
