Julija Schmatenko ( Ukrainian Юлія Шматенко , international after English transcription Yuliya Shmatenko ; born  October 10, 1991 ) is a Ukrainian middle and long distance runner .

Career

Julija Schmatenko has so far achieved two national and one international successes.

At the 2017 European Team Championship in Lille , France, Schmatenko was able to compete in the 5000 m run with 15: 30.36 min between first-placed Spaniard Ana Lozano (15: 18.40 min) and third Alina Reh from Germany ( 15: 32.50 min) position on the silver rank.

In 2017 and 2018, Schmatenko was also victorious at the Ukrainian Championships, where she covered the 5000 m in 15: 22.85 min and 15: 59.58 min.
