Life

At the beginning of her athletic career, she was still in the shadow of other Russian gymnasts such as Jana Batyrschina or Amina Saripowa. It wasn't until 1999, at the age of 20, that she was able to celebrate her first international title. At the European Championships in Budapest she received gold in the rope discipline and silver in the tire discipline.
