Julius Bobinger

Julius Bobinger (born March 15, 1944 in Munich ) is a former German diplomat .

Life

After completing his master's degree in English and German , he worked as a tutor at the University of Munich . After joining the Foreign Service in 1975, he was employed at the Foreign Office in Bonn, at the Embassy in Iraq, at the Permanent Mission to the United Nations in Geneva and again at the Foreign Office in Bonn. From 1986 to 1989 Julius Boblinger was permanent representative of the ambassador to the Ivory Coast and then deputy head of a department at the Federal Foreign Office in Bonn. In 1994 he first became head of the economic department of the embassy in Greece before becoming permanent representative of the ambassador in Greece from 1996 to 1999. In 1999 he returned to the Foreign Office as head of a department. From 2002 to August 2005, Bobinger was the Ambassador's Permanent Representative to Poland. He then headed the German Embassy in Tallinn ( Estonia ) until his retirement .
