Julius Endlweber

Julius Endlweber (born April 17, 1892 in Vienna ; † May 6, 1947 there ) was an Austrian landscape and vedute painter .

life and work

To date, art historical research has known relatively little about the biography of Julius Endlweber, apart from several relevant exhibition dates. Endlweber exhibited his works at the winter exhibition of the Vienna Künstlerhaus in 1919, and in 1953 he exhibited the oil paintings Civil War , Plague and Abandoned Battlefield at the Viennese local art exhibition "The Unknown Artist" .

Works by Endlweber are now in the Army History Museum and in the graphic collection of the Austrian National Bank .
