Julius Hartranft

Julius Alfred Eugen Hartranft (born May 28, 1844 in Boeblingen , † April 4, 1906 in Sindelfingen ) was a German educator and member of the state parliament .

Julius Hartranft was the son of the Böblingen chief clerk Christoph Heinrich Hartranft (1806–1889) and Johanne Christiane Böhringer (1809–1871). He married Clara Fischer, with her he had a child. His brother was the Freudenstädter Stadtschultheiß and member of the state parliament Alfred Hartranft .

Julius Hartranft studied theology and philology in Tübingen . After graduating as Dr. phil. he began as a teacher at the Real Latin School in Sindelfingen, and in 1897 he became the rector of the Real Institute in Sindelfingen.

politics

In 1895 Hartranft was elected to the second chamber of the Württemberg state parliament as a representative of the upper office of Böblingen . He held this office until his death. He was a member of the People's Party.
