Julius Kraaz

Julius Kraaz (born September 9, 1822 in Osmarsleben , † September 24, 1889 in Güsten ) was a lawyer , sugar manufacturer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Kraaz attended the Pforta State School and studied law at the Universities of Heidelberg and Berlin from 1841 to 1845 . He was a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg , Pomerania Halle and Guestphalia Berlin . He later worked as a lawyer in Bernburg . From 1858 he was a farmer and sugar manufacturer in Güsten. From 1850 to 1853 he was a member of the state parliament for Anhalt-Bernburg . He was also a member of the municipal council in Güsten, the district council and the district committee in the Bernburg district and the Anhalt state parliament.

From 1874 to 1878 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Anhalt 2 (Bernburg) and the National Liberal Party .
