Julius Redling

Julius Redling (born August 23, 1947 in Ettlingen ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After graduating from elementary school in Langensteinbach , Julius Redling attended a commercial college in Ettlingen and completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk. He then worked as a clerk and then studied at the Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences until 1972 and law in Freiburg until 1977 . Then he was a judge at the Karlsruhe Regional Court and at the Labor Court in Villingen-Schwenningen . Redling is married and has two children.

politics

In 1986 Redling replaced Kurt Kempf in the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg , of which he was a member until 2001. He represented constituency 54 (Villingen-Schwenningen) and was the domestic political spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group. In addition, Redling belonged from 1989 to the district council of the Schwarzwald-Baar district and from 1994 to the association assembly of the Schwarzwald-Baar-Heuberg region .
