Julius von Bönninghausen (born December 23, 1835 in Coesfeld , † March 26, 1889 in Bocholt ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Origin and family

Julius von Bönninghausen was born as the son of the married couple Clemens August Franz Adolph von Bönninghausen (* 1793, † 1871) and Clara Agnes Henrica Rothmann (* 1798, † 1854). He had a sister and three brothers, including August Joseph , doctor and medical adviser.

Professional background

Bönninghausen studied law and was from 1866 to 1879 district judge and then until 1888 district judge in Dorsten . From 1877 to 1885 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1878 to 1884 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Münster 3 ( Borken , Recklinghausen ) and the German Center Party .
